Payment and Refund Policy

Defined Terms

The term “EXPO” means the PRIVATE SCHOOLS EXPO, currently scheduled to be held May 25, 2019 (the “EXPO Dates”) at Zimparks Gardens, Harare. The EXPO is owned, produced, sponsored and managed by Zimbabwe Academic Trust. Located at 12 Van Praagh , Milton park, Harare. The term “Zimbabwe Academic Trust” means Zimbabwe Academic Trust and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, representatives, successors and assigns, unless the context requires otherwise. “Exhibitor” means, severally and jointly, (i) the company/s that applied for and/or was granted exhibition space, and/or was granted sponsorship, individually or shared, (“Exhibition”) at the EXPO and agreed to enter into this Contract upon acceptance by Zimbabwe Academic Trust in the manner stated below and (ii) each of its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, contractors, agents, representatives and/or invitees, as applicable. Zimbabwe Academic Trust and Exhibitor are collectively referred to in this Contract as the “Parties” and “Party” in the singular. The term “Exhibition Facility” or “Exhibition Facilities” means the exhibition/convention venue/s where the EXPO will be held.

Exhibition/Sponsorship Payment and Refund Policy

Full payment of Exhibition and/or any marketing or sponsorship fees must be provided at the time of reservation. Payment may be made by check (payable to Zimbabwe Academic Trust) or credit card (Visa and MasterCard). Exhibitor shall have the right to cancel Exhibition and/or Sponsorship agreement at any time by written notice to Zimbabwe Academic Trust. In the event of such cancellation received up to 90 calendar days prior to the EXPO, Zimbabwe Academic Trust shall refund 90% of Exhibition or Sponsorship fees. Zimbabwe Academic Trust shall refund 50% of Exhibition or Sponsorship fees on cancellations received between 60-89 calendar days prior to the expo. No refund will be made on cancellations received within 59 calendar days of the expo. Under all circumstances, Zimbabwe Academic Trust retains the right to resell any Exhibition or Sponsorship cancelled by exhibitor/sponsor. All cancellations must be sent in writing via e-mail to Zimbabwe Academic Trust [email protected].

Attendee Cancellation Policy

The EXPO payment and cancellation policy is designed to help lower EXPO costs to registered attendees. Due to financial obligations incurred by Zimbabwe Academic Trust, your cancellation must be received prior to the EXPO. In the event of such cancellation received within 7 days after ticket pass was purchased, Zimbabwe Academic Trust shall refund 100% of ticket price paid minus any applicable processing fees. All cancellations received 7 days after purchase will not receive a refund. Zimbabwe Academic Trust reserves the right to cancel, re-name or re-locate the EXPO or change the dates on which it is held. If Zimbabwe Academic Trust changes the name of the EXPO, re-locates the EXPO to another Exhibition Facility within the same city, or changes the dates for the EXPO to dates that are not more than 30 days earlier or 30 days later than the dates on which the EXPO originally was scheduled to be held, no refund will be due to Exhibitor, but Zimbabwe Academic Trust shall assign to Exhibitor, in lieu of the original Exhibit Space, such other Exhibit Space as Zimbabwe Academic Trust deems appropriate and Exhibitor agrees to use such space under the terms of this Contract. If Zimbabwe Academic Trust elects to cancel the EXPO other than for a reason previously described in this paragraph, Zimbabwe Academic Trust shall refund to Exhibitor the Exhibit Space Cost previously paid, in full satisfaction of all liabilities and obligations of Zimbabwe Academic Trust to Exhibitor.
